PASS

Steph_2PASS (Peer Assisted Study Sessions)

Passing is something all students want to do as a bare minimum. However, especially in first year trying to even get a P can be a struggle. In order for a PASS session to be run there has to be a high fail rate in a subject (only first year). PASS is located above the bookshop and if you are keen you can come up and talk to someone at our ASK desk (trust me you will know where it is…we love posters). Believe it or not PASS is a great way to bond with other people in your course and go “erhmahgerd I don’t get it” together and then have that extra support to find the answers. While PASS is really helpful and fun there can be a bit of a stigma with it that only dumb people go or your ego is like “pfft I don’t need help”. All I can say is don’t be silly! Get your butt up to PASS and give it a go! Try at least two sessions before you make up your mind and you will be pleasantly surprised by the support networks you will be building for yourself.
